Lancashire is one of the most distinctive British cheeses and can be found in a variety of shapes & sizes. The most traditional form is the 20lb cylinder made at one of the traditional farmhouse makers such as Butlers. The cheese has a nutty flavour with a slight tang and a crumbly texture. This cheese makes an ideal partner for a Chardonnay and a fresh, crisp apple.
